- As the years have gone by, there have been many changes in the world. Although that has always been the case and will always be the case, there are certain things that do not/ will not change for the better (at least for now). In the recent years, let alone recent weeks, I have noticed this new trend to “show more, cover less”. Sadly, it has not only been induced into the newer and younger generations but also the older ones. I get this can be a very controversial topic , but this not only is about the clothes that you wear but it is the representation of who you are, your identity, and values. But, it is not only about the individual’s choice but also the respect of everyone around you no matter what age, sex, or beliefs.
This is where the idea of ClassyLoft was born. I realized that I was not the only one that felt this way, but that others were speaking out into what they thought could be detrimental to each and everyone of us. This idea that being trendy is giving up part of yourself and letting others into something so intimate and private can cost a lot to young women but also to the world. Being trendy can be healthy, it can be wholesome, and it can be cool. There are roads that may look more popular and fun, but there are roads that are less travelled yet lead to a more fulfilling life and a completeness that makes you stand out, not by what you show, but by who you are and the difference you make in the world by taking a step into the right direction and leading others to change their perspectives on what can lead to healthier and upstanding view of oneself, and the view of others.
